Role Overview
The New Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the US market. The role requires strong sales capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to build long-term client relationships to drive revenue growth.
This is a target-driven role aligned with US business hours.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role (FMCG experience preferred)
Proven track record in acquiring and managing new business accounts
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Comfortable working in US shift hours
Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound prospecting
Develop and implement strategies to target potential clients in the US region
Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain lead tracking
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients
Understand client needs and offer tailored product solutions
Maintain long-term engagement with newly acquired customers
3. Sales Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns
Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
Support brand positioning in the US market
4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Analyze US market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity
Identify emerging opportunities and new segments for expansion
5. Proposal & Presentation
Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and commercial offers
Deliver virtual presentations and business pitches to potential clients
6. Negotiation & Closure
Lead price negotiations and finalize contracts aligned with company objectives
Ensure profitable deal closures
7. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and pipeline status
Submit regular performance reports to management
8. Client Engagement & Handover
Act as the primary contact for newly onboarded clients
Ensure smooth transition from sales to operations/execution teams
