Role Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and generating business from existing and new customers/dealers within the assigned territory. The role requires strong technical sales expertise in industrial transmission products and a focus on achieving monthly sales targets while ensuring smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Functional Requirements
Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Automobile Engineering
3–4 years of experience in industrial sales
Experience in handling industrial transmission products such as:
Industrial Chains
Bearings
Gears
Belts
Cutting Tools
Power Transmission Products
Knowledge of sales processes and commercial terms
Strong negotiation skills
Good communication skills in English and Hindi
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
Personal Skills
Strong planning and execution ability
Willingness to travel and explore new markets
Self-driven and punctual
Ambitious with a “Can-Do” attitude
Result-oriented mindset
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and generate orders from existing and new customers and dealers
Achieve monthly sales targets as per company-defined objectives
Ensure smooth order execution in coordination with the back-office team
Handle pre-sales activities including:
Customer master data documentation
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
Purchase agreements and commercial documentation
Post-sales follow-up including payment collection
Coordinate with factory and back-office teams for resolving customer complaints
Prepare and execute monthly customer contact plans for Direct & MRO segments
Gather and report regular market feedback
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
