About the Role
We are a privately held family office in Kuwait seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Investment Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis.
This role combines core accounting responsibilities with hands-on investment analysis and valuation work across a diversified portfolio of public and private investments. It is ideally suited for a young professional with strong accounting fundamentals and practical financial analysis experience who is looking to grow in an investment-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
Accounting
Finance
Economics
Business Administration
Professional qualifications preferred or in progress:
CPA / CA / ACCA
CFA (Level II or higher is a plus)
Experience
5–10 years of experience in:
Accounting, audit, or financial reporting roles and/or
Investment analysis, valuation, or corporate finance
Experience in professional services, investment firms, or multinational environments preferred
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Strong accounting fundamentals and financial statement expertise
Practical experience in financial modeling and valuation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms
Understanding of investment structures and basic tax concepts
Language & Communication
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
Maintain accurate books and records for holding companies and investment vehicles
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform bank, broker, and investment account reconciliations
Assist with audits and coordinate with external accountants and advisors
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards
2. Investment Analysis & Valuation
Build and maintain detailed financial models, including:
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models
Comparable company and transaction analysis
IRR, MOIC, and return attribution calculations
Support valuation of:
Public equities
Private companies
Funds and alternative investments
Track portfolio performance and prepare periodic investment reports
Assist in financial due diligence for new investment opportunities
3. General Duties
Prepare internal presentations and investment memoranda
Maintain organized financial and investment documentation
Provide ad-hoc financial and analytical support to senior management
