Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Legal to support and manage the company’s legal matters. The role involves handling contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating legal risks, and providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university (LLM preferred but not mandatory)

3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate/legal advisory roles

Strong knowledge of corporate laws, contract law, and regulatory compliance

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Provide legal advice and support to various departments

Handle litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel

Manage legal documentation and maintain proper records

Assist in risk assessment and recommend preventive legal measures

Monitor changes in relevant laws and advise management accordingly

Represent the company before regulatory authorities, if required

Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives
