Primary Responsibilities :
The Continental Chef is required to know well about Continental food including Mexican and/or Italians and to cook fantastic meals with your talent.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Preparation, cooking and presenting Continental dishes. Assist with stock ordering and monitoring procedures.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school.
- Specialized training in continental cuisine is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Proven experience in managing kitchen operations and leading a team.
Culinary Skills:
- Expertise in preparing a wide range of continental dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Menu Development:
- Ability to create and innovate new recipes and menus while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Experience in cost control and ingredient sourcing.
Team Leadership:
