Role Overview

The Director – Sales and Operations will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects across India while ensuring excellence in quality, cost, timelines, and client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and represents the company’s interests with professionalism, integrity, and strategic focus.

 

Experience

Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a Project Manager in Interior Fit-Out projects

Extensive knowledge of interior fit-out materials and technical specifications

Hands-on experience managing the full scope of interior fit-out works

Strong understanding of construction and engineering technologies

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

General & Project Management

Overall responsibility to deliver and manage projects across India

Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Act as the main client interface for all project-related matters

Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Represent the company and management with due diligence and professionalism

Implement and monitor management-approved project plans

Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and attend reporting meetings as required

Collaborate closely with all internal departments to ensure project success

Promote a strong team ethos across all departments

Build and maintain effective working relationships with Lindner Group companies

Source and develop new business leads and potential projects

People & Team Management

Mobilize personnel to and from project sites in coordination with Project Managers

Set objectives, assess performance, and ensure continuous training and development of project staff

Build motivated, high-performing project teams

Participate in recruitment and remuneration reviews for project staff

Manage and guide reporting personnel effectively

Contractual & Commercial Management

Verify and ensure technical compliance from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers

Coordinate between clients, sites, subcontractors, and suppliers

Lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders

Ensure procurement, design, production, cost, time, risk, and project close-out remain within approved budgets

Ensure all commercial procedures are followed as per company and client requirements

Monitor project schedules and programs

Lead and manage contractual correspondence across all projects

Technical, Quality & Safety

Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and delivery as per company and client standards

Identify, resolve, and manage technical, commercial, and contractual issues

Monitor quality of materials and workmanship in line with company procedures

Implement and enforce health and safety standards on-site as per company policies

Education & Qualification Requirements

Education

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design

Relevant certifications are an added advantage
