Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will have end-to-end responsibility for driving the strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and brand positioning of the organization’s diagnostic centers and hospital pharmacy network. The role requires a strong blend of healthcare operations, P&L ownership, marketing leadership, and financial governance, with the objective of scaling the business profitably while maintaining clinical quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
• Define and execute the overall business strategy for diagnostic centers and hospital
pharmacy operations.
• Drive organic and inorganic growth, including new center launches, hospital tie-ups,
and geographic expansion.
• Identify new revenue streams, service line expansions, and partnerships.
• Present business plans, performance reports, and growth strategies to the Board.
2. Operations Oversight
• Oversee end-to-end operations of diagnostic labs and pharmacy outlets, ensuring
efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Establish SOPs, quality benchmarks, and turnaround time (TAT) standards.
• Ensure compliance with NABL, NABH, CDSCO, Pharmacy Act, and other healthcare
regulations.
• Optimize manpower planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor
management.
• Drive technology adoption (LIS, HIS, ERP, POS systems).
3. Marketing, Sales & Brand Building
• Lead marketing and business development strategies to increase patient footfall,
prescriptions, and institutional tie-ups.
• Strengthen relationships with doctors, hospitals, corporates, and insurance
providers.
• Oversee branding, digital marketing, referral programs, and customer experience
initiatives.
• Drive pricing strategies, promotions, and market penetration plans.
• Monitor competition and adapt strategies to maintain market leadership.
4. Financial Management & P&L Ownership
• Own full P&L responsibility for diagnostics and pharmacy businesses.
• Develop and control annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Improve profitability through cost optimization, pricing strategies, and revenue
enhancement.
• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, audits, and statutory
compliance.
• Manage working capital, cash flows, and vendor payments efficiently.
5. People Leadership & Organization Building
• Build and lead a high-performance leadership team across operations, marketing,
finance, and support functions.
• Set KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
• Drive a culture of compliance, customer focus, and operational excellence.
• Oversee talent acquisition, retention, training, and succession planning.
6. Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, ethical standards, and corporate governance
norms.
• Identify operational and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Experience
• MBA / PGDM in Healthcare Management, Marketing, Finance, or Operations
(preferred)
• Medical, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences background is an added advantage
•20+ years of experience, with 8 -12years in a senior leadership role (CEO/COO/Business
Head)
• Prior experience in diagnostic chains, hospital pharmacy networks, hospitals, or
healthcare retail is mandatory
• Proven track record of business expansion and profitability
