Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef (Indian Cuisine) skilled in preparing authentic tandoor dishes. The candidate will be responsible for operating the tandoor oven, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Culinary certification or professional kitchen training

Experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook tandoor items such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikkas, and tandoori dishes

Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently

Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation

Marinate meats and prepare tandoor-specific recipes

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor station

Monitor food stock, storage, and reduce wastage

Follow food safety and health regulations

Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth service operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–10 years of proven experience as a Tandoor Chef (Indian Cuisine)

Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and temperature control

Expertise in Indian spices, marinades, and breads

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Good teamwork and time management skills

Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
