Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of site engineering experience in ELV systems within the MEP industry. The candidate will be responsible for execution, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems at project sites while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of site experience in ELV systems within MEP projects.
Strong knowledge of ELV systems, installation standards, and testing procedures.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site.
Preferred Skills
Experience with authority approvals and inspections.
Knowledge of international standards (NFPA, IEC, or local codes).
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage installation of ELV systems including:
CCTV
Access Control Systems
Fire Alarm Systems
Structured Cabling (Data & Voice)
Public Address (PA) Systems
BMS / IBMS (if applicable)
Coordinate with MEP, civil, and architectural teams to ensure smooth site execution.
Review drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals related to ELV systems.
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and local authority standards.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems.
Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure timely completion of work.
Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations.
Attend coordination meetings and resolve site-related technical issues.
