🧾 Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven experience in a digital marketing agency environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and selling digital marketing solutions such as SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Campaigns, and performance marketing services.

The role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing offerings, excellent client-handling skills, and the ability to close mid-to-large-scale projects.

 

🎓 Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within a digital marketing agency

Strong understanding of digital marketing services including SEO, SEM/PPC, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Web Analytics

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Experience using CRM tools and lead generation platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, etc.)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Client-centric mindset with a consultative selling approach

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)

⭐ Preferred Skills

Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot, etc.

Existing client network or proven track record of closing mid-to-large digital marketing projects

Ability to articulate ROI-driven digital strategies to potential clients

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Identify and target potential clients across industries and geographies for digital marketing services

Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and digital platforms

Manage the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation, discovery, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Act as the primary point of contact for new business opportunities

Understand client requirements and propose customized digital marketing solutions

Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective clients

Proposal & Strategy Coordination

Collaborate with internal digital marketing teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOW)

Present pitches and solution decks to prospective clients

Clearly communicate service scope, timelines, deliverables, and ROI

Market Research & CRM

Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competition, and new growth opportunities

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and communications in CRM systems

Track pipeline status and sales performance metrics

Networking & Lead Generation

Participate in industry events, forums, webinars, and online platforms to generate leads

Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, and other lead-generation tools
