🧾 Job Summary
The National Sales Head will be responsible for leading and managing the complete sales function across assigned states (Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and J&K). This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening brand visibility, and ensuring high-performance sales execution across the country. The position involves strategic planning, leadership of regional and field sales teams, and end-to-end sales performance management.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business goals and market opportunities
Define annual sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the sales organization
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
Identify and develop new business opportunities, geographies, and key accounts
Team Leadership & Management
Lead and manage Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Assistant Sales Managers (ASMs), and Medical Representatives (MRs)
Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and incentive structures
Drive coaching, training, and capability development programs
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions
Market Development & Customer Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, chemists, hospitals, and healthcare professionals
Ensure effective product penetration, brand visibility, and market share growth
Provide strategic direction to field teams for key accounts and critical markets
Oversee customer issue resolution and ensure high-quality service support
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with Marketing, Production, Regulatory, and R&D teams for product launches and promotions
Provide accurate sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence to senior management
Lead national sales campaigns and promotional initiatives
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Sc (Science) / B.Pharm; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive pharmaceutical sales experience, including leadership roles
Proven track record in managing large sales teams and achieving revenue targets
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales channels, marketing practices, and regulatory compliance
Experience in new product launches, brand building, and distributor management
