Position: Legal Counsel – Litigation
Experience: 3–7 Years
Location: Bandra West, Mumbai
🧾 Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel – Litigation (Senior / Principal Associate level) with strong exposure to civil, criminal, commercial, arbitration, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling complex and high-stakes litigation, drafting sophisticated pleadings, arguing matters before courts, and coordinating with senior counsel and clients.

Experience Requirements:
⚖️ Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Court Appearances
Appear before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, Sessions Courts, Magistrate Courts, NCLT, and NCLAT
Independently argue civil, criminal, commercial, and arbitration matters
Handle matters under special statutes including IBC, PMLA, MPID, POCSO, SFIO, ED, CBI, and CrPC
Manage court filings, compliance, and procedural requirements
Drafting & Documentation
Draft and vet:
Special Leave Petitions (SLPs)
Writ Petitions
First & Second Appeals
Criminal Revision Applications
Interlocutory & Miscellaneous Applications
Written Statements and Statements of Defence
Complaints, Legal Notices, and Replies
Arbitration pleadings and enforcement petitions
Commercial suits and agreements (JV, Development, Settlement, Trademark matters)
Draft replies and representations to statutory authorities such as MHADA, CIDCO, and Municipal Corporations
Advisory & Strategy
Conduct in-depth legal research on complex and novel issues
Assist in formulating litigation strategies for high-value and sensitive matters
Brief and coordinate with Senior Advocates and external counsels
Handle client conferences and provide regular litigation updates
Client & Stakeholder Management
Manage high-profile clients including corporates, bureaucrats, and public representatives
Attend jail mulaqats and liaise with investigating agencies when required
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth case handling
