Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to oversee and manage the production of Soyapieces/Chunks, primarily Textured Soy Protein (TSP), within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a deep understanding of the production process for soy-based products, ensuring the most efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of all systems involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for managing, controlling, and optimizing the entire soy production process, focusing on Textured Soy Protein (TSP).
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all production equipment, including crushing, refining machinery, boilers, pump houses, air compressors/dryers, and utilities.
• Manage plant maintenance, including the erection and fabrication of conveyor systems.
• Supervise pipeline design and ensure the seamless integration of systems across the plant.
• Ensure the efficient operation of preparation, packing, and production machines, including overseeing quality control during all stages of production.
• Monitor and maintain all critical plant components such as motors, electrical systems, automation systems, and control/protection circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems including temperature, vacuum, current, pressure, level, and flow transmitters, as well as control valves, actuator valves, timers, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and troubleshoot any issues related to the production process.
• Continuously identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a soy manufacturing environment, particularly with TSP and soyapieces/chunks production.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, including refining, crushing machinery, power plants, and related mechanical systems.
• Expertise in plant maintenance, machinery erection, and conveyor system fabrication.
• In-depth knowledge of pipeline design and integration.
• Experience with electrical systems, automation systems, and control circuits.
• Hands-on experience with the maintenance and troubleshooting of critical plant instruments (e.g., transmitters, control valves, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering issues.
